CASE STUDY OF NAMBI NARAYANAN : An Inspiration...      You thought who is Nambi Narayanan, we never heard anything about him. Who is he?? 90% of Indians don't know about him.    It's a Normal questions. But believe me his life was not normal. Police arrested him for a spy case. Then you think why I discuss about Nambi Narayanan! , who taunted as a criminal. So read this carefully ... Nambi Narayanan , Former ISRO scientist. S. Nambi Narayanan  (born 12 December 1941)is an INDIAN scientist and an aerospace engineer. As a senior official at the ISRO he was in-charge of the cryogenics division.   In 1994, he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested. But the charges against him were dismissed by the CBI in April 1996,and the supreme Court of India declared him not guilty in 1998.         In 2018, the Supreme Court, through the bench of Dipak Mishra awarded Narayanan a compensation of ₹ 5,000,000 (roughly US$70,000), to be recovered from the Governme

BASIC CONCEPT OF TRANSFORMER

WHAT IS TRANSFORMER:

 Transformer is a static device which transfer energy from one circuit to another without changing the frequency.

Transformer based on the principle of Mutual Induction.

    1:Coil

Coil: It's a valuable part of transformer. It's provide the path for going magnetic flux.

2:Winding:  The primary winding of a transformer is connected to the input voltage supply and converts or transforms the electrical power into a magnetic field.  The secondary winding is to convert this alternating magnetic field into electrical power producing the required output voltage.



3:conservator tank: This is one type of tank which  has oil, but not full. When transformer oil will warm, this oil will transfer to conservator tank.

4:Transformer oil: It's one type of oil,  which is stable at high temperatures and it has excellent electrical insulating properties.

5:Breather:Breather is a part of a transformer which can filter the moisture of air.. Breather consist of silika jale for absorbing moisture of air..

6: Buchholz relay: Buchholz relay in transformer is an oil container housed the connecting pipe from main tank to conservator tank.

 1:Single phase transformer
2:Three phase transformer
3:Power transformer
4:Step up transformer
5:Step down transformer

1: Single phase transformer: It's a one type of transformer which is type of power transformer.It is utilized single phase ac current.

2:Three phase transformer:  It is a one type of transformer where three phase are connected in input side.

It is a more economical for supplying large load.




Power transformer: Power transformer is a passive eletromagnetic transformer which transform the energy from one circuit to another.

Step up transformer: This is one type of transformer where output voltage of transformer is greater than input voltage.  



Step down transformer: This is one type of transformer where input voltage is greater than output voltage.It is use for reduces the voltage from transmission voltage to safer voltage.

IDEAL TRANSFORMER:


 It's a imaginary transformer which is not possible.It is based on some properties:

 1:The resistance of primary and secondary winding is negligeble.
2:Efficiency is 100%
3:Leakage flux and leakage inductance are zero.
